My intent is to keep it updated with other interesting topics and most likely a handful of random things as well. You can click the photographs to see them full size. Thanks for stopping by!

Way to go Philly! Good choice!
Time to break out the batteries or a heavier object I guess. A propane tank perhaps. The Eagles really signed Michael Vick. Yippy!! Of course...bring in this guy to fix your QB problems. It's not like AJ Feeley wasn't the guy that helped get you to the playoffs where McNabb choked in the Superbowl. There are plenty of NFL players that have screwed up...alot, Dante' Stallworth most recently and many professional athletes for that matter. Maybe the penalties and suspensions need to be a lot more brutal in general so some of these geniuses get the point. Screw up bad and watch your money go bye-bye. Maybe Andy Reed will keep Vick chained to an axle on the side lines and beat him when he isn't paying attention. Or if he throws multiple interceptions will they decide he is no good and take him out back to shoot him? Maybe, just maybe they could turn the Link into a stadium like in the movie Gladiator. Trap doors that open and tigers jump out when Vick is on the field. You would have to make his pads out of meat so the tigers go after him though. Ugh...what a waste of talent this beeping beephole is. Guess you can tell I am not a fan in the least. Whatever.

I could screw up this bad for half the money.
WOW! Yes, the cubs were losing this game, but as a major league ball player you would think you should know how to keep track of how many outs there are in an inning. Obviously not, watch in awe as this guy throws a live ball into the stands. In my illustrious baseball career that ended with me riding the bench in high school I never did anything this dumb. He should have to play the rest of the year for free and attend night classes for 1st grade math. I think you get to use the real big fat crayolas in the 1st grade too. Good job Milton. Glad you are named after a company that makes board games.

Pets and Plants
So we have a basil plant in the window getting some sun and I forgot it was there, but the dog happened to find it. It was funny, she had a "I swear I didn't touch it" look on her face, but the smell of fresh basil coming from her mouth told a different story. The link below lists both toxic and non-toxic plants for pets. It's a handy list to have around. Basil is non-toxic. I guess we have a gourmet puppy on our hands.

Hockey is Awesome
One sport that I never played competitively growing up was hockey. One of my "dream jobs" would to be a goalie in the NHL. Since that is probably not going to happen I try to go to a few NHL games per year and I joined an adult hockey league. Not quite the same glamour as an NHL player and I don't get a paycheck for it, but it is a lot fun. Below are a couple shots of Tim Thomas and one of Nitty, from a recent Flyers game. Tim Thomas is arguably one of the top goaltenders in the NHL at the moment and made some of the most insane saves in this game that I have ever seen. We sat 8 rows off the ice...pretty sweet seats and I was surprised how well some of the photos came out shooting through the glass. I still think sitting up a little higher is much better b/c you can see all the action and get better photos. Playoffs in a couple weeks. Go Pens!

Bert and Ernie
1 and a 2...I don't remember Sesame Street being like this when I was growing up, but it would have been much cooler and maybe I could have been in a band. A real band..not the "here is your trumpet, lets see how crappy we can make 30 kids sound" type of band. It is a couple minute clip, but you only need 30 seconds to understand.

Bonus Clip...I guess they wanted to explore all genres of music. Whatever works I guess.

PCV Baptism
My nephew/godson, had his baptism this past weekend up in Worcester, MA. Below are a few of my favorite pictures of him from the weekend. As you can see he cleans up pretty nice. Going from a face covered in "gravy" to his Sunday best. One of the highlights of the weekend was when Peter decided to put on his dads gloves, my hockey helmet hat and ran around making little monster noises. With all of us laughing he thought it was the greatest thing going. Nothing like simple pleasures. Once I go through more of the pictures I will throw some additional ones up.

Lilly
This is Lilly. A few pictures of her anyway. We rescued her from Almost Home Animal shelter in Pensauken, NJ. She has 2 sisters out there somewhere..Lucy and Lacy. When we brought her home, she was around 8 lbs. We were told she would get to 20-25 lbs. At present, she is weighing in at 51 1/2 lbs. Slight difference. When she is not sleeping, she is usually walking to our bed to go back to sleep, eating or outside enjoying life w/ her pal Tyler. He is a Yellow Lab...same size and weight. Lilly will be a big sister come July. Should make for some good pictures.

Flickr
I have also created a page on Flickr. There is a lot that has to be set up and organized on there, but the nice part is that you can see all of the specs around the pictures. ISO, Aperture, Focal lenght, shutter speed, etc. Pretty cool. I will put up a post when there is some new stuff added to Flickr. I have a ton of pictures already on Kodak as well. Need to figure out how to get those linked with everything else. Before you know it, we are going to be landing on the moon! Anyway, here is the Flickr link.

Vagabond Vistas
Check out this site. I took a photography class here. A lot of cool photographs and an excellent resource. If you are looking to take a class I would recommend looking into what he has to offer.
